|
NW Ohio Journal and 60 Plus join forces for an hour-long special on the issues that challenge caregivers and the resources available to help them in the Northwest Ohio area.

The guests included two individuals with personal caregiving experience: Kim Christensen, a lecturer in BGSU's School of Intervention Services, who cares for her special needs son, and Carole Young, director of the Academic Test Center at the University of Toledo, whose husband suffered from Alzheimer's.
Pauline King, Caregiver Support Director for the Area Office on Aging; Felicia Evans, Home Care Network; and Debra Sorensen, MSW LISW, Care Manager, Certified, will provided insights into community resources available to help caregivers and how individuals can best navigate their way through a confusing variety of options.
