WHAT'S ON NOW

A letter from the General Manager. . .

Patrick Fitzgerald
Welcome to the new WBGU-PBS website. We've worked
hard to make the site attractive, fun and easy to navigate.
Of course, we also have filled the following pages with
information about the station, our local and national
programs and our educational services like "Ready To Learn."
We hope you'll also enjoy using our links Bowling Green State University, to PBS, to our Television Learning Services department and to the Northwest Ohio Educational Technology Foundation which serves schools in our broadcast area.

You can also learn more about our award-winning productions like "Cedar Point
Memories
," "The Story of the Great Black Swamp," " Baseball in Japan," and our series like "Marcia Adams Kitchen." We are in the process of compiling video clips from these programs that we'll place on our website so you can preview them, if you are not already familiar with them.

You also will be able to become a member of WBGU-PBS or renew your membership online, as well as purchase WBGU-PBS produced programs online. The University is currently working to make campus websites secure for credit card transactions for a variety of things from concert tickets to BGSU memorabilia. For now, you can call us or use our mailing address to purchase our programs in VHS and DVD formats.

We now have bulletin boards so you can share your thoughts on programs with other web visitors and participate in discussion of issues being presented on our public affairs program, "The NW Ohio Journal," and our program for those aged "60 Plus."

Again, welcome. We hope you enjoy the new look and content of our website. If you have any comments, we certainly welcome them. Please send email us with your thoughts. Enjoy your visit to WBGU-PBS online.
